The now-free player started running, unopposed, towards our tryline. And in the chaos of the game, our captain shouted to me &#8220;he&#8217;s your man &#8211; chase him down.&#8221; At that point, I was on the ground, hoping somebody else would pick up the tackle. But being named gave me no choice&#8230; I had to tackle him on the second attempt. I ran back and made a try-saving tackle. <em>Disclaimer: There is an excellent chance he scored. And, if I&#8217;m focused on delivery, one of the massive alarm bells will be when somebody says &#8220;they&#8217;ll do it&#8221;.  And they is not a singular person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"792\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Theylldoit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-136\" srcset=\"https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Theylldoit.jpg 792w, https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Theylldoit-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Theylldoit-768x404.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 792px) 100vw, 792px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You&#8217;re in a meeting, and there is a dependency on something new being done.  And somebody (please tell me it&#8217;s not you!) says &#8220;Group IT will do that&#8221;.  And you move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations.  You&#8217;ve just introduced a weak link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"303\" height=\"292\" src=\"https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/chainweakestlink.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-137\" srcset=\"https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/chainweakestlink.jpg 303w, https:\/\/leverage.mobi\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/chainweakestlink-300x289.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 303px) 100vw, 303px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Projects are all about team work.  We&#8217;re all a part of the value chain (excuse the pun).  But, they&#8217;re also about accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, when I&#8217;m being particularly aggressive, and somebody says &#8220;Group A will do that&#8221;, my answer is always the same&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s great.
